Close to the small village of Riana with its IGA store, Church, and the scenic countryside to Gunns Plains and the Wild Life Park and Caves. A short distance away in Wivenhoe is a new complex consisting of bakery/cafe/delicatessen/butcher etc. With Burnie and Penguin towns within easy travelling distance. The airports at Burnie/Wynyard, Launceston and Devonport make the Lodge very accessible. The Spirit of Tasmania arrives and departs from Devonport.
